Welcome to the 4 Kids and Whanau Centre

A place where we are dedicated to serving families and the community. As a not-for-profit, community centre facilitated by the Glenfield Action Trust, we listen to the needs of the Glenfield community and respond in practical ways. Our heart is for families, and we strive to partner with them to connect, support and develop the family unit. Our various programs reflect our commitment to fulfilling this vision

At our childcare centre, we cater to children aged from 3 months to school age, with a capacity for 50 children each day. We believe in the power of play-based learning and offer children endless opportunities to discover and explore.

Our Before and After School Care program caters to children from various schools in the Glenfield area. We pick up and drop off children from their schools and bring them back to our centre, where we engage them in fun activities. Our Holiday Program for primary school-aged children features two unique programs daily, from a trip-based program for fun activities around Auckland to a structured program run on-site at 4 Kids and Whanau.

Our latest initiative is the Legacy Community, which aims to provide independence for adults with intellectual disabilities. We offer shared housing options for people with disabilities to learn independence in a supportive community setting.
